VidGrid Inc. (“VIDGRID” or the “Company”) is committed to protecting the privacy of users of its software applications. This Privacy Policy states the VIDGRID practices applying to individual users of the VIDGRID brand software application and other VIDGRID software applications (the “Application”).

VIDGRID and its licensors owns and operate the Application. VIDGRID is a Delaware corporation with its principal office in St. Paul, Minnesota, U.S.A.


Information We Collect

VIDGRID requires users to have a user account. All users must provide an email address and username to establish and maintain a user account. Except as specifically stated below, we will not provide the personal information you provide to establish your account (“Personal Information”) to any third parties without your express consent.  You have the right to access your personal information in order to correct, amend, update or delete information that is inaccurate, or to request that we no longer use your Personal Information, by submitting a written request to the contact information listed below. Please be aware that if you request that we no longer use your Personal Information you will not be able to continue to use the Application.

VIDGRID may also collect non-personal information on how users use the Application using web software application tracking tools or information, such as cookies, web log files, or IP addresses (“Usage Information”).

Use and Disclosure of the Information

We use your Personal Information to maintain your user account and operate the Application. This information will also be provided to our third party technology contractors as necessary to operate the Application, such as companies which host servers or data for the Application.  These third party technology contractors may be located in the United States or locations around the world.

Except for our technology contractors, we will not voluntarily share your Personal Information with a third party without your prior authorization, except (a) to enforce our privacy policy, to comply with law, regulation or other legal processes or to protect the rights, property or safety of us or others, (b) with a regulator, law enforcement agency or personnel or other public authorities, including to meet national security standards, (c) in emergency situations, (d) to protect against misuse or unauthorized use of the Application, (e) to detect or prevent criminal activity or fraud, or (f) in the event that VIDGRID or substantially all of its assets are acquired by one or more third parties as a result of an acquisition, merger, sale, reorganization, consolidation or liquidation, in which case Personal Information may be one of the transferred assets.

We use the Usage Information to analyze and evaluate the features and functionality of the Application. We also use this information for product marketing, promotion, and sales purposes in our business discretion. We may share Usage Information with parties for marketing, advertising, or other similar uses. The Usage Information will not include any Personal Information, or any other information which identifies or can be attributed to an individual user.

If we ever were to engage in any onward transfers of your data with third parties for a purpose other than which it was originally collected or subsequently authorized, we would provide you with an opt-out choice to limit the use and disclosure of your personal data.


We collect information about your use of the Application through the use of cookies. Cookies are small files that a web application stores on your computer’s hard drive or other memory for record-keeping or other administrative purposes. If you are concerned about the use of cookies, you can choose to enable a feature in your browser software that will erase cookies, block all cookies, or warn you before cookies are stored or exchanged. If you reject cookies, you may not have access to all features or functionality offered by the Application.

Data Security

Data security is implemented through physical, administrative, and technical safeguards we put in place and operational procedures we follow to protect Personal Information. We protect your transactions involving Personal Information over the Internet using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. We restrict access to your Personal Information in our database to our authorized employees, our agents, and certain of our authorized contractors. We will promptly notify you in the event that we learn or have reason to believe that any person or entity has breached our safeguards and gained unauthorized access to your personal data.

Children’s Privacy

The Application is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We will not knowingly collect any Personal Information from users under the age of 13 online through this Application. EU-US Privacy Shield

VidGrid Inc. complies with the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal information transferred from the European Union to the United States.  VidGrid Inc. has certified to the Department of Commerce that it adheres to the Privacy Shield Principles of Notice, Choice, Accountability for Onward Transfer, Security, Data Integrity and Purpose Limitation, Access and Recourse and Enforceability and Liability.  If there is any conflict between the terms in this privacy policy and the Privacy Shield Principles, the Privacy Shield Principles shall govern. VidGrid Inc. has further committed to refer unresolved privacy complaints under the EU-US Privacy Shield Principles to BBB EU PRIVACY SHIELD, a non-profit alternative dispute resolution provider located in the United States and operated by the Council of Better Business Bureaus. Under certain limited conditions, EU individuals may invoke binding arbitration as a last resort before the Privacy Shield Panel.

With respect to our compliance with applicable privacy laws and regulations VidGrid Inc. may be subject to the investigatory and enforcement powers of the U.S. Federal Trade Commission.

VidGrid Inc. complies with the Privacy Shield Principles for all onward transfers of personal data from the EU, including the onward transfer liability provisions.
